Fathala Wildlife Reserve: Safari in Senegal

The Fathala Wildlife Reserve spans 2,000 hectares of protected natural forest in northern Senegal, near the border with The Gambia. If you are drawn to pristine African wilderness and love observing wildlife, this tour is perfect for you. You will have the chance to see herds of antelopes, including the rare Giant Eland and Ellan antelopes, as well as water hogs, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, and buffaloes.
This is a cross-border tour, starting with a ferry ride to Barra and continuing on to Senegal. Please note that a yellow fever vaccination is required to cross the border into Senegal.

Spend time exploring the Fathala Wildlife Reserve and witnessing the incredible animals in their natural environment. You may also choose to take part in the walk with lions (available for an additional fee).

Ferry to Barra:

Travel to Banjul, where we take the ferry across to Barra

Lunch at the Reserve:

After the river cruise, you have the chance to relax at the bar and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
