Abuko Nature Reserve is the first nature reserve in The Gambia and is now home to a variety of animals, including hyenas, monkeys, and numerous bird species. You’ll have the opportunity to see these animals in their natural habitats and enjoy the lush scenery.
After visiting the reserve, we will head to Abuko cattle market, where you can see how locals trade cattle, goats, and other livestock. This market offers an authentic glimpse into local culture—unlike anything you’d find in Europe!
